Chapter 8 of Favorite Form is up! It's a short one but when you read it I think you'll understand why. Off to work on 1337 some more but I'll be getting back to Dimitri and his brother Kenric as soon as I can. I know, I leave off on some evil cliff hangers don't I? :p

Chapter 5 - He Lives Where?!
Starting to look like that mage and Sabrina really don't want to work together but Aldric isn't about to give up. Paladin's may be righteous good but they can still be sneaky suckers.

Woohoo! Got the update done! Well...this update is done. Now I can get back to working on the other updates. Oh look, the sun's coming up. Maybe I should get some sleep first...enjoy the update and I'll take a nap before getting back to work. Wonder if I still have any coffee....

It's official. It was masochistic tendencies that had me doing updates every week. It's the only explanation. The next chapters for Favorite Form and Do You Speak 1337 are being worked on, edited, and polished. Hopefully I'll be able to get them done on Sunday or Monday. A few things going on with the apartment complex so I lost a few days of writing time and of course work takes up a lot of my time but I'm getting back into the groove....I hope. :p

Woah. Been a while since we saw that subject huh? Update time! Longest chapter so far for Favorite Form but I worked hard to make this a good one so please enjoy.

Favorite Form Chapter 7 - Crashing Should Never Be the Best Case Scenario
Dimitri and the others are putting Bridget's plan into action. I'm sure it will all go off without a hitch, right?

It's been a while since the updates have been regular but none of the stories have been abandoned. If anything there are more in the works to be honest. The holidays are over for the most part (though there's still Valentine's Day which is a big one where I work) so I just need to get back into the groove of things and get the chapters polished, edited, and up.

Using a new writing program, Scrivener, for my stories. It's going to help in the long run because I didn't realize how many plotlines and characters I had going until I started transferring all the notes over into the program. Holy guacamole are there a lot of notes! There's also a lot of research going on for stories that I'm building up a buffer for before I start. Hopefully there won't be another long silence like there's been. Only a bit longer then things should be regular again. At least I hope so...

Regardless things are still going for Favorite Form and Do You Speak 1337? I had to take How Many Licks Does It Take down and that's undergoing a rewrite but there's another story in the works. Since it's been so long between updates I've got a teaser for you. Please enjoy a little taste of Inventive Attachment:

November leaned against the wall behind her trying to slow her breathing. The last one she could have sworn had heard her panting which helped it find her before she was ready. The beast around the corner she wanted to take by surprise. The bloody things were damn annoying. Still focusing on her breathing she loaded a new bullet into her pistol by touch, her eyes trained on the corner to her right in case the beast either heard her and charged or decided to take a waltz down the hall she was hiding in. Why couldn’t her girlfriend have a normal hobby like gardening or knitting? Oh no, she had to date the inventor! At least Elaine was cute. Unfortunately the results of her inventing were often not cute. Of all the things she could invent why the bloody hell had she decided on a time machine?!

During November I participated in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) and it was an eye opening experience. There are so many resources out there to help with writing! Not just self-publishing and editing but writing programs geared specifically for this. I honestly didn't think I'd be able to afford any of them right now but with the 50% discount given to NaNoWriMo winners I was able to get Scrivener. It has helped a WHOLE LOT. O_O Transferring all my notes onto it is proving to be a pain in the tush but it's already helping immensely, especially with the outlines and being able to easily get to all my notes. The fact that it will compile things and put them into e-book format and all that is going to come in handy too. The format for the updates may be a bit different but I'll get it down in a bit. Okay, enough goofing off. Time to get back to writing Favorite Form. Chapter 6 left off on an interesting note so I won't make you guys wait much longer. Back to work!

Holy guacamole! An update! I know, it's been a long wait but hopefully this will mark the return to chapters going up regularly. Time to see if Sabrina has held onto her sanity (not likely) or if she's squished the mage.

The last day of November! Phew! This month has been a really hectic rollercoaster but I made it! I know the updates haven't been going up like I promised but they'll be flowing again soon. The Novel for National Novel Writing Month is done so that's a big thing off my plate. Writing together with roseargent we blew past the 50,000 mark and wrote 61,314 words. My brain is mush. It feels awesome to accomplish this after thinking we wouldn't (we started out the month writing individually then realized we had written a novel during our break time role playing, who knew?). Back to Favorite Form and Do You Speak 1337! Chapters are almost done my lovelies so thank you so very much for the patience!
